About Us

Seven Trees
The humans at Seven Trees have lived in the Pacific Northwest for many years, with sojourns in Montana & eastern WA. After experiencing city and rural life, we chose a balance of both in lovely Whatcom County, WA. We are trying to find out just how much 1.25 acres can provide by way of sustainable food production, as well as dust off some old time farming practices in doing so. Researching and practicing old-fashioned farm skills and raising heritage farm animals is a way to preserve both. Our goal is to keep old fashion homestead, and other skills alive by learning them ourselves and sharing them here with others.
